| 16 Jan 2009 | John R Farley Jr | Loading...There’s something interesting about the whole look of the painting. It looks peaceful enough, but it also looks like something sinister could be hiding somewhere. At the same time, the story above give me an entirely different, and the preferred feeling of longing. Anne Wipf replies: "I’m impressed by your feeling, John. Of course, the song gives a feeling of longing, but the singer (and writer) of this song said that the incest she suffered by her father when she was a child inspired her for this song. So, the hidden sinister thing is present somewhere, and I’m pleased if I succeeded uncounsciously to give it. Thank you " | |
