In the hot summer days, fairies like to go bathing, even if they don't swim, their wings being too brittle ; by they like to follow the stream, comfortably sat on floating flowers...

This is the first and the last collage I ever did : I'm not very talented for that, paper always sticks on my fingers and not on the canvas ! And it is the first time I painted something (the fairies, in the occurence) directly in Photoshop instead of using a scan.

The lanscape is inspired by a proximate town, St-Céré (4000 inhabitants).

Collage + acrylic on canvas + Photoshop.

Lovely atmosphere in the "Bathing Beauties"! And the new crazy wizards series was charming and funny. Something for childrens books perhaps! Au revoir

Beautiful ... I think this is my favourite in your gallery. Right away it drew my eye.

:-) Anne Wipf replies: "Thank you 1 I’ll probably re-do the fairies one day: if I like my painting/sticking, my first drawing with photoshop (the fairies) was not very successful 8"
